 Ellis Flag Football Earns 41–12 Victory Over Brashear Ellis Flag Football delivered a strong performance in its matchup against Brashear, earning a decisive 41–12 victory.Ellis set the tone early, scoring 20 points in the first quarter and maintaining that momentum throughout the game. The Tigers added another 20 points in the second quarter, taking a commanding halftime lead. Despite being shorthanded with only three athletes competing, the Ellis swim team put forth an outstanding effort against Penn Hills. Chris Curd, Ellis Flag Football head coach and founder of the Pittsburgh Flag Football League and the PA Flag Football Foundation, received an incredible honor when he was surprised with two tickets to Super Bowl LX by the Pittsburgh Steelers. The presentation took place at Montour Sports Complex and was delivered by former Steeler and Super Bowl champion Matt Spaeth.Chris has played a vital role in expanding girls flag football throughout the Pittsburgh region. In his very first season as Head Coach—of a sport he had never played—Steve Habershaw delivered a remarkable turnaround for the Field Hockey program. A group of Ellis students, families, and friends came together at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse on Sunday afternoon to cheer on Duquesne Dukes in their matchup against the Pitt Panther women's basketball game. We were treated to an exciting game, with Duquesne earning an 84–69 victory.Before tip-off, Ellis Middle and Lower School players had the special opportunity to head down to the court and form a high-five tunnel as the Duquesne team took the floor—a memorable moment for our young hoopers.
